Our street now wears her summer dress. That’s cooler.
In a few days, matsuri will be a quasi-daily activity around here.
We hire new people at LM3LABS. Please join us and enjoy the summer in Kagurazaka.
July 13, 2011: We decided to offer our terrasse and office for rental.
As we do not use at max, as Kagurazaka is full of events (on Sundays or many festivals,…), we think it is a great place for company to organize parties and small events.
We created a dedicated web site: http://events.lm3labs.com
Please share the word.
It seems that, yes, Google Maps get some updates but veeeeery slow, as our office seems to be in building.
Probably 1 year old or something.
We will organize our first “Bounenkai” in the office on December 17th, 2010.
Here is the invitation: http://www.tokyointeract.org/2010/12/02/359/
This week we will host our second “partnership event” at Tokyo Interaction Center.
This event is organized by the Word Usability Day organization which aims at improving design of everything in order to make a better world.
Making a better world is definitely LM3LABS’ objective and we try to do it by designing better interaction between human beings and digital content. So, we are very happy to host discussion on this topic in our facilities.
More information about WUD can be found on Tokyo Interaction Center’s blog: http://www.tokyointeract.org/%E3%83%96%E3%83%AD%E3%82%B0-blog/
A new public parking is building right close to our office.
This will significantly ease access to LM3LABS and Tokyo Interaction Center.
…and now we need to modify our access maps! :-)
Our terrace was used for Ageha Magazine for shooting girls, “galu”. This is Ageha style http://bit.ly/d43TPP

(about TED: http://tedxtokyo.com/ )
We have been silently at work as we were turning our offices into a new initiative called the Tokyo Interaction Center or 東京 Interaction Center or “TinC”, as we call it between us.
The TinC is more than a place. It is a NPO aimed at gathering Designers, Architects, Artists, Universities, Businesses around the future of interactivity topic.
TinC’s mission and calendar will be officially unveiled on July 23rd.
TinC’s has a wed site since last Friday : http://tokyointeract.org
With some delay (we must serve customers first!), we launched our holographic facade.
We have a lot to experiment to get the best from the media, we decided to start with quiet content.
This meeting room is called the “Aquarium”, know we all know why !
We added large LCD screens for face tracking demonstration.
We enter the phase where we try to get the best positions of interactive products in the office.
As our ambition is to integrate them seamlessly (no visible cables, no apparent machines, just human body and light) it is a critical decision phase. And it is tricky.
Our focus has always been to make technology as invisible as possible. It is time to prove it now.
